HRS Hevac - AMP
The HRS AMP range is competitively priced and has been engineered to generate hot water efficiently without the need for storage therefore substantially cutting down the risk of the legionella bacteria and also reducing the plant room space required. Of a compact design and manufactured to a high build quality, this instantaneous range of hot water heaters features a DHW plate heat exchanger incorporating high grade stainless steel AISI 316 heat transfer plates for extended life which is of particular advantage for PFI / PPP projects.
The range is fitted with primary pumps and is available with single or dual headed options. All models feature a 4-port rapid response motorised primary control valve together with a built in bypass to simplify design. The control box is fitted with a door mounted PID temperature controller with dual temperature displayed manually. HRS AMP units are supplied with remote enable / disable, two off BMS volt free contacts and an anti-legionella cycle as standard. The HRS AMP heat exchanger has reduced primary return temperatures to help reduce pipe sizes, pumps and controls.
The AMP range is economical to run since it heats the water instantaneously and is ideal for those applications where there is a constant demand for set temperature hot water. The HRS AMP range is semi-instantaneous when used in conjunction with a buffer vessel. Simple to run and engineered for minimum maintenance HRS AMPs are supplied ready for piping and wiring for easy installation, and come with a full one year warranty. If the HRS AMP is prioritised off a LPHW circuit, it can work similarly to a combi-boiler taking the LPHW only when the DHWS is needed, dependant on the flow rate required.
With the flexible design selection available the AMP can be designed to suit specific boiler power and storage / plant room restrictions.
Benefits of the HRS AMP range include:
- Remote Enable/Disable
- 2 off Volt-Free Contacts
- Anti-Legionella Cycle
Typical Application:
Hot water generation for schools / colleges / universities; sports / leisure facilities; hotels; hospitals; nursing homes; banks; prisons and blocks of flats / council dwellings.
