HRS Hevac - AquaNiro
The HRS AquaNiro range of stainless steel calorifiers can either be used with a heat exchanger as a storage tank, or with an immersion heater for direct heating. Immersion heaters are available in 5.2 kW, 9 kW or 12 kW options dependent on vessel size. The upright design of the HRS AquaNiro range produces an optimal layering of the domestic hot water, making the vessels highly suitable for installation in boiler plants and district heating facilities.
When a HRS AquaNiro unit is used with a heat exchanger it is ideal for those applications where demand for domestic hot water is not constant, but where high flow rates occur on a regular basis.
With a heat exchanger, the power requirement can be reduced substantially since the HRS AquaNiro acts as a buffer against the power peaks associated with high flow rates. Following the hot water draw off, heating takes place very quickly because the hot water heated by the heat exchanger is supplied to the top of the HRS AquaNiro buffer vessel. This means that by using a HRS AquaNiro in conjunction with a heat exchanger the amount of power required is reduced, allowing a smaller calorifier to be used without losing hot water capacity. Calorifiers are available to handle volumes of 300, 500 750 and 1,000 litres.
